Thousand Oaks, CA – October 2015… Lucero, makers of finely crafted guitars for beginners and expert players alike, has introduced a new line of classical and flamenco guitars. As with all Lucero guitars, these new instruments feature superior tonewoods, exquisite craftsmanship, and rich, full-bodied sound.
With a slimmer profile neck, cutaway design, and premium Fishman™ electronics, the new “modified” flamenco guitars are designed for today’s guitarist – electric and steel string players looking to add the warmth and color of nylon strings to their arsenal.
Lucero’s new Flamenco series guitars feature slim, shallow neck profiles, cutaway design for easier access to upper frets, and built-in Fishman™ Classica III preamps with 3-band EQ, phase switch, and tuner. The Flamenco models also feature Ebonite Regal tuners and custom inlaid rosettes, gold hardware, multi-ply wood binding, 3-ply rear marquetry strip, and are factory-strung with D’Addario ProArte strings.
The Flamencos come in two flavors: the LFB250SCE combines cypress back and sides with a solid select spruce top for added snap and presence, while the LFN200SCE fuses the warmth and richness of rosewood back and sides with the volume and projection of a solid select spruce top.
In addition to the modified Flamenco models, the new Lucero model LC200S is a traditional nylon-string classical guitar featuring warm Indian rosewood back and sides with a solid red cedar top for exceptional warmth and rich tone. Genuine mahogany binding and 3-ply rear marquetry give this guitar a classic, luxurious look and feel, with a sound quality to match.
Lucero Flamenco models LFB250SCE and LFN200SCE both carry a street price of $349.99, while the classical LC200S sells for $269.99. Lucero guitars are available at all Guitar Center locations, Musicians Friend, and guitarcenter.com online. Watch for the new Lucero website, www.luceroguitars.com, coming soon.
